Public Shaming

Public shaming and humiliation have long roots in human society—a tradition that FA seeks to continue with our calling out of the worst of today’s design nightmares.  In ancient times through the medieval period and beyond, trespassers against public decency or morality were put in stocks, pilloried, put on scaffolds, and otherwise subject to public disdain.

Therefore, we call for a return to the more benign forms of the public tradition of humiliation and shame—for those that so obviously deserve it.
